Prior to joining Channel Marketing Group, John developed his career at leading companies such as Crescent Electric Supply Company, HD Supply Power Solutions, White Cap Construction Supply, Anixter/WESCO, Modern Distribution Management, Dorn Group, and EIS-INC.

Michael co-founded Canals in 2022 to bring the power of artificial intelligence to wholesale distribution. Canals uses AI to automate critical workflows, including sales order entry, accounts payable, and purchasing & receiving.

Prior to Canals, Michael was CEO of Vested, a financial marketplace providing retail investors with access to venture capital investments. He was also Chief Legal Officer and Head of Product at Willing, an estate planning startup that was acquired by MetLife. 

Before entering tech, Michael was a corporate attorney for a large Wall Street law firm. He has a law degree from Harvard and a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from the University of Miami. He lives in Miami, Florida with his wife, two daughters, and dachshund.
